The Farm of Joreau offers over 72 m² modern comfort and cosy decoration combined with traditional architecture like limestone, slate, terra cotta tiles, old wood parquet and ceiling for 4-5 persons.

The house has been completely renovated in Mai 2006. Besides a big south-terrace with garden furniture and barbecue you dispose of 800 m² private garden with view into the woods. Your kids can play in the sandbox and on the swing while you relax with a glass of wine.

On the ground floor you enter the living room with its fire place. From here you continue to the dining room and the fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor you find 2 bedrooms (1 double 160*200 cm, 1 twin 80*200 cm) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The beds will be prepared at your arrival.

Gennes, a charming village, on the border of the Loire, is only 15 km (< 10 miles) from Saumur and Doué-la-Fontaine and 30km (< 20 miles) from Angers. Shopping facilities are less than 1km (0.5 miles) from the gîte and open 7 days a week.

Situated in the middle of the regional nature reserve "Loire- Anjou-Touraine", the house offers an ideal starting point for cultural, gastronomic and nature related expeditions for every age. Hikers and bikers will appreciate that the Domaine de Joreau is situated directly on the long distance path GR3 and the Loire Valley bike trail.
